Prints by Bow is a Perth based label specialising in prints, cards, homewares and textile products. Designed in Fremantle, business owner Kathryn, is inspired by urban Australian artists and seeks to capture scenes and icons she grew up around in a new way. 

Kathryn is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with a Bachelor of Arts and Double Major in Creative Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography and Illustration Design. She has been running Prints by Bow since 2017, in addition to a full-time career in design. 

Kathryn’s illustration process is meticulous. To ensure accuracy, she uses photos as a reference point for the design. Each line is individually and carefully placed, with hours of work poured into every piece. The result is unique, human-made, contemporary artworks that exhibit a deep connection to place and an exceptional level of detail.

Bold colours, geometric shapes, and architectural elements characterise Kathryn’s work, creating striking designs that are both eye-catching and thoughtfully designed.
